Marketplace and contracting role

KemyShopping acts as merchant of record unless another retailer is expressly identified at checkout or on the invoice. The customer-facing disclosure, invoice and actual payment/refund process take priority if a specific order lawfully identifies a different structure.

Prices, taxes and other charges

Prices are displayed in South African rand. They include taxes that the operator is legally required to charge. Delivery, discounts and every other material charge are itemised before the customer submits the order. A seller or driver may not demand an off-platform payment for a KemyShopping order.

How the electronic agreement is concluded

1. The product page and basket allow the customer to review the product, seller, price and fulfilment information.
2. The checkout allows the customer to identify and correct input errors before submitting the order.
3. An order-received message confirms that KemyShopping received the request; it does not by itself guarantee stock or final acceptance.
4. The order is accepted when payment and required checks are completed and KemyShopping issues the acceptance or processing confirmation.
5. If an order cannot be accepted after money was received, the relevant amount is reversed or refunded.

Order records and language

Customers can access current order information in My Account and through order emails, subject to system availability and lawful retention. English is the primary contractual and support language unless another language is expressly offered for the transaction.

Policies forming part of the agreement

The Terms & Conditions, Marketplace Terms, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns Policy, Payment Policy and Privacy & POPIA Notice apply where relevant.

Applicable law and complaints

The business operates subject to South African law, including the CPA, ECTA and POPIA. No membership of an accreditation or self-regulatory body is claimed unless expressly published. Complaints can be submitted to support@kemyshopping.co.za and escalated under our Complaints & Disputes process.
